15-Minute Chicken, Rice and Veggies
15-minute chicken, rice and veggies:
Groceries:
Frozen, precooked chicken strips
Frozen hodgepodge veggie blend
Quick cook brown rice
Almond Butter Turmeric salad dressing
Hot sauce
Instructions:
Cook frozen ingredients on the stove in oil, I used sesame
Add cooked rice
Stir in salad dressing and hot sauce to taste
Top with crushed peanuts
That’s it!
Not all packaged food is unhealthy but be sure to read the ingredient list to know exactly why you are getting. This chicken is JUST chicken and the veggies are ONLY veggies. Watch out for dressings as most are full of preservatives and MSG.
I get the majority of my groceries from Trader Joe's so that's where I bought the dressing. In case you want to make your own sauce, this one has almond butter, lemon juice, ginger, turmeric and black pepper.
